About The Role Responsibilities
* Lead delivery of internal and outsourced projects from initiation to operations transition
* Monitor execution, establish governance, and manage risks and issues effectively
* Ensure optimal use of resources and project management tools and practices
* Deliver projects on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives
* Support enterprise IT portfolio management through standards, training, and analytics
* Provide transparent reporting and ensure complete project documentation
* Own project status, risks, and issues, reporting to governance bodies with clear actions
* Ensure compliance with security and regulatory policies within project scope
* Collaborate across teams, domains, and strategic suppliers to ensure project success
* Support strategic planning and drive implementation with senior leadership
Qualifications Essential Requirements
* University degree in informatics, computer science, business, or equivalent professional experience
* Certification in project management methodologies such as PMP, Agile, Waterfall /Scrum, or PRINCE2 is preferred
* Minimum 10 years of experience in IT project management
* Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex project interdependencies
* Experience working in regulated environments with strong focus on quality and compliance
* Familiarity with clinical development systems, processes, and tools is desirable
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project conditions
* Experience with internal budgeting, planning, and project tracking tools used at Novartis
Desirable Requirements
* Experience delivering GxP-compliant solutions within clinical IT and operational technology environments
* Knowledge of finance tools for budgeting, planning, and execution tracking
