Openbank Pay seeks a Long Tail Director to oversee a scalable, factory-model in Europe, managing a broad portfolio of small and mid-sized merchants and owning the segment P&L. You will design a standardized, automation-driven operating model to drive profitable growth while reducing complexity. You’ll coordinate with Product, Risk, Legal, Compliance, CDAIO, Operations and Finance to ensure regulatory readiness and cross-country expansion. This role offers impact across markets and a chance to shape a growing payments platform.

• Own segment P&L across markets and drive profitable growth, margin optimization, and cost efficiency
• Design and implement a standardized, repeatable, automation-driven merchant management model
• Prioritize actions by economic impact and scalability; reduce operational friction through process and tooling
• Oversee acquisition, activation, and performance optimization of small merchants; improve onboarding efficiency
• Establish structured performance review frameworks for the segment
• Coordinate with Product, Risk, Legal, Compliance, CDAIO, Operations and Finance to ensure readiness and compliance across markets
• Identify new verticals and geographies for factory-model expansion
Responsabilidades
• +10 years of experience in commercial leadership, merchant management or platform business models
• Proven experience managing scalable portfolios in fintech, payments or ecommerce xpzdshu
• Strong P&L ownership experience
• Ability to design efficient, standardized commercial models
• Strong analytical and performance management skills
• Fluent English; Spanish is a plus
