Overview
An established international freight forwarding organisation is looking to hire an Outdoor Sales Executive to support continued growth within its Air & Ocean Freight offering. This role focuses on new business development while also nurturing and expanding existing client relationships across the Barcelona market.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify and acquire new customers, focusing on high-value and strategic freight opportunitiesManage and grow existing client relationships, acting as a trusted logistics partnerPrepare commercial proposals, quotations, and tenders, and lead pricing and contract negotiationsConduct face-to-face client visits and present tailored logistics solutionsWork closely with internal operations and product teams to ensure seamless service deliveryTranslate customer requirements into scalable air and ocean freight solutionsDrive revenue growth, market presence, and long-term customer satisfaction
Candidate Profile
Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales or business development within air and/or ocean freight forwardingStrong understanding of international logistics and supply chain solutionsCommercially driven with a consultative, customer-focused approachConfident communicator with strong negotiation and relationship-building skillsFluent in Spanish and English, both written and spokenHolds a valid driver’s licence and is comfortable with local travel
