We are currently hiring a Sales & Trade Manager for one of our key clients — RJM Food a leading manufacturer of premium tahini and sesame-based products, partnering with top retail brands worldwide.
Since 2004, have been focused on Private Label and Packer Brand solutions, operating a fully automated, large-scale facility producing thousands of tons annually.
Now, they are expanding into Europe, and you would be among the first sales hires on the ground. This is a unique opportunity to build our European presence from the ground up, with significant autonomy and impact.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales and Trade Manager to develop and lead our commercial strategy across the European market. You will drive expansion, increase market share, and build long-term relationships with distributors, retailers, and key customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a strategic sales and trade plan for Europe
* Identify new market opportunities and manage entry into new countries
* Achieve annual sales targets
* Lead negotiations with distributors, retailers, and strategic accounts
* Manage distribution networks and local partner relationships
* Analyze sales performance and produce periodic reports
* Manage marketing and trade budgets for Europe
* Conduct market analysis (competitors, trends, local regulations)
* Build long-term client relationships and initiate new partnerships
* Represent the company at trade shows and commercial events across Europe
* Ensure brand consistency across all markets
Requirements
* 8+ years in international sales/trade (food industry preferred)
* Deep knowledge of European markets, regulations, and business culture
* Strong negotiation skills with senior stakeholders
* Fluent in English (additional European languages a plus)
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field
* Willingness to travel frequently within Europe
* Independent, strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills
