Responsabilities
At NX, we are looking for an Application Engineer to join our Battery Management System (BMS) Development team. In this role, you will play a key role in the design, development and integration of advanced BMS solutions. You will work closely with customers and internal teams, focusing on the technical aspects of BMS projects to implement and customize solutions that maximize the performance, safety and efficiency of our products. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative products that meet industry standards and customer expectations.
Tasks
* Design and validate battery management system (BMS) platforms, participating in the definition of their architecture and ensuring compliance with applicable safety, performance, and regulatory requirements.
* Perform calibration and integration activities for BMS systems, providing technical support to clients to facilitate the adoption and optimal performance of our solutions.
* Work closely with hardware and software engineering teams to ensure the effective integration of BMS solutions in various environments and applications.
* Collaborate closely with product management, branding, and sales teams to understand customer needs and market trends, translating these requirements into technical specifications.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize product quality, performance, and manufacturability.
Requirements
What You Will Bring – Required Knowledge and Experience:
* Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related fields.
* Professional experience in system engineering, ideally in the automotive or a related industry, with a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience.
* Strong understanding of battery systems and their electronic control systems, including system architecture and design principles, algorithm development and validation.
* Intermediate level of English (B2).
* Proactivity and eagerness to seek continuous improvement.
* Ability to manage people and work in a team.
* Attention to detail and a responsibility to ensure quality delivery to third parties.
