Delivering high-quality services and ensuring that project management and/or programme management deliverables meet Customers' requirements and business procedures.Monitoring and working with the principal contractor appointed to complete the project;Attending regular meetings with the principal contractor;Providing support and assistance to the principal contractor and contractors on site;Delivering a high quality service which ensures that services meet our client's requirement;Managing the client's health safety obligations on the project to deliver a high quality service;Advising and assisting the client with their duties under the construction related health and safety standards, regulations and legislations;Assisting with the coordination of health and safety aspects of design work;Cooperating with others involved with the project;Facilitating good communication between the client, designers and contractors;Liaising with the principal contractor regarding ongoing design work;Producing and presenting regular reports to our main client – this will involve prompt flash reports of major issues as well as comprehensive weekly and monthly reports detailing all aspects of health and safety management on site;Advising directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or will arise, on projects; in particular those that might impact on Gleeds professional indemnity (PI) insurance;
10+ years of construction-related health and safety management experience.~ Experience in industrial, energy or data centre construction projects with a similar job function.~ Experience in delivering services on a live construction site in Spain.~ Sound knowledge of construction-related health and safety regulations and standards, as well as international best practices.~ Cohesive knowledge of construction methods.~ Thorough understanding of national health and safety legislation relating to construction.~ Competent ICT skills, with a high level of proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.~ Proficiency in English and Spanish.~ Benefit from our rich heritage and global opportunities as you construct a career with purpose.With over 75 offices across the globe, you'll become part of a truly global team that isn't restricted by borders.
