At Experis, we are looking to add a Security Research Engineer to our consulting projects department, requiring high-level English proficiency.
Role & Responsibilities :
1. Collaborate with external third-party labs, globally located engineers and program managers, and BU DE community including Dev test / QA test teams to assess certification feasibility and completion.
2. Work within a collaborative team environment throughout the certification lifecycle, including technical documentation writing, network analysis, and business feasibility studies.
3. Manage and oversee certification processes for specific certifications.
4. Develop comprehensive project plans for testing requirements such as penetration testing, including procurement of demo units.
5. Present program status at key milestones and meetings.
6. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and meet key requirements.
7. Create and maintain detailed project tracking documentation.
8. Conduct risk assessments and explore alternatives.
9. Manage projects of moderate to high complexity.
Minimum Qualifications :
1. Fluent in English and proficient in Spanish or Dutch.
2. 2-3 years of experience with Common Criteria and familiarity with EU Common Criteria (EUCC), along with government policy and technical expertise.
3. Minimum of 6 years industry experience.
4. Knowledge of Cisco technologies (CCNA, CCNP or similar certifications preferred).
5. Understanding of networking technologies including security, IDS/IPS, routing, switching, data centers/cloud, cryptography.
6. Self-motivated, proactive, with demonstrated IT Networking and Security skills.
7. Strong analytical and logical reasoning abilities.
8. Ability to architect and document Cisco product solutions aligned with certification requirements.
9. Excellent technical writing skills for complex engineering documentation.
10. Effective communication, listening, and presentation skills; team-oriented attitude.
11. Apply security engineering expertise to certification projects.
12. Deep knowledge of deploying and managing Cisco products and networks.
13. Ability to communicate effectively with global management levels and external vendors.
14. Capable of managing multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
15. Willing to travel as required.
