What you will do:
The Roles Key Responsibilities and Tasks
As an eDOer you will have clear objectives great challenges and a clear overview of how your work contributes to the global company project and its customers As aSenior SEM Specialist your role extends beyond execution to include strategic leadership mentorship and significant business impact:
1. Strategic Leadership amp; Planning: Build and drive longterm PPC strategies that contribute to sustained business growth aligning PPC efforts with overarching business objectives and the broader marketing mix
2. Performance Optimization amp; Risk Mitigation: Conduct complex data analysis to uncover strategic patterns translate these findings into actionable strategies and proactively identify potential risks within PPC initiatives developing robust mitigation and contingency plans
3. CuttingEdge Execution amp; Standards:Plan design implement and optimize highly effective SEM campaigns across all our brands amp; products ensuring execution adheres to bestinclass industry standards and sets a high performance benchmark Provide operational guidance and coordination within assigned scopes
4. Business Acumen amp; Strategic Optimization:Steer spend and revenue of the SEM campaigns towards given targets by deciding on the right bid strategies strategically optimizing PPC spend across diverse program scopes to maximize performance volume and ROI considering companywide KPIs
5. Forecasting amp; Innovation:Contribute to forecasting and scenario planning providing valuable insights to the leadership team Champion a culture of experimentation and innovation proactively exploring new platforms and methodologies to maintain our technical edge
6. Stakeholder Management amp; Communication: Serve as the primary contact for key highlevel stakeholders Influence strategic decisions by effectively presenting complex datadriven insights in highlevel executive summaries to peers managers and external partners eg Google Microsoft
7. Team Guidance amp; Expert Mentorship:Act as a recognized subject matter expert who elevates the teams capabilities by providing indepth technical guidance disseminating best practices and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
8. Agile amp; Collaborative Work:Take full ownership of chosen quarterly strategic initiatives coordinating the working team to achieve the objective and closely collaborating with other departments to align actions towards common company targets

Experience:Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience in SEMPPC ideally managing high 6figure monthly budgetsStrategic amp; Technical Expertise:Excellent indepth knowledge of Google Ads and Microsoft Bing including advanced bid strategy design and implementation G Ads certification is a plusMandatory Quantitative Background:A degree in a highly quantitative field is required eg Engineering Computer Science Mathematics Physics Statistics or similar quantitative Business fieldsExceptional DataDriven Leadership:Superior skill level in data analysis interpretation and complex data storytelling You must be able to analyze big datasets find nonobvious patterns discover deep strategic insights and articulate these findings clearly for executive decisionmakingTechnical Data Proficiency:Advanced level in MS Excel is mandatory Strong practical knowledge of web analytics tools eg Google Analytics and experience working with data querying languages eg SQL or advanced statistical software is highly beneficialInfluence amp; Mentorship:Proven ability to constructively challenge the status quo influence strategic decisions and provide effective mentorship and guidance to junior team membersOwnership amp; Acumen:Strong Sense of Ownership taking the lead on endtoend strategic initiatives with a cando attitude Demonstrable business acumen beyond core PPC metricsLanguage Skills:Fluent English is mandatory; additional Europeanbased language is a plusMindset:Experience working in an agile environment andor in the travel sector is a plus Always striving to grow amp; learn embracing a 100° feedback cultureAI amp; Automation Mindset:Experience in leveraging AI for strategic PPC campaign optimization automation and reporting is a strong plus
