Virtusa is looking for a specialized AI UX/UI Senior Engineer to join our design practice in Poland. This is not a traditional web design role; you will be at the forefront of Human-AI Interaction (HAI), designing the interfaces for next-generation copilots, chatbots, and recommendation engines. With 6–8 years of experience, you will be responsible for creating intuitive, trust-based experiences that bridge the gap between complex AI logic and user-centric design. You will define how users interact with \"black box\" AI systems, ensuring transparency, explainability, and high adoption across enterprise applications.

Define user interactions with complex AI systems to ensure transparency and explainability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Translate business requirements into intuitive user experiences that drive adoption.
Requirements
Professional Tenure: 6–8 years of UX/UI design experience with a strong portfolio of complex enterprise-grade applications. Experience in AI/ML-driven products is highly preferred.
Tooling Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Figma (advanced components, variables, auto-layout). Proficiency in Sketch or Adobe XD is expected.
AI/ML Literacy: Strong conceptual understanding of LLMs, NLP, and recommendation systems. Understand latency, non-determinism, and data grounding.
Interaction Design for AI: Proven experience designing for conversational interfaces, sidecar "copilot" patterns, and automated decision-support systems.
Explainable UI (XUI): Ability to design explainability into interfaces so users understand outcomes.
User Research & Analytics: Deep experience in qualitative and quantitative research; ability to analyze user data to iterate on AI-driven logic.
Accessibility: Knowledge of WCAG 2.1+ and applying accessibility to dynamic AI content.
Technical Understanding: Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React/Next.js) consuming AI APIs to ensure design feasibility.
Visual Design Excellence: Strong typography, color theory, layout and a consistent global visual language.
Agile Proficiency: Experience in Agile/Scrum with Jira for task management and design handoffs.
Communication & Influence: Strong storytelling and presentation skills to explain design decisions to technical teams and business stakeholders.
Language Skills: Professional English (C1) mandatory for collaboration with international leadership.
Educational Background: Degree in HCI, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or related field.
