Application Consultant at Leica Biosystems
Leica Biosystems, a part of Danaher, is committed to advancing cancer diagnostics and improving lives. We are seeking a dedicated Application Consultant to support our customers through applications support, training, and demonstrations of Leica Biosystems instruments. This role aims to optimize product uptime, increase sales, and grow our market share by providing exceptional customer support and promoting our product portfolio.
Responsibilities
* Sales and Product Awareness
Generate sales and increase product awareness through customer visits, samples, trials, and follow-up on leads. Collaborate with the Account Manager to plan and execute sales initiatives.
* Customer Acquisition and Business Development
Research and identify potential new customers, expand the customer base, and qualify opportunities for consumables and reagents. Conduct retention visits to key accounts.
* Demonstrations, Negotiations, and Support
Coordinate product demos, participate in seminars, and promote new products. Support value stream mapping projects and address customer needs.
* Market & Competitor Research
Provide insights on market share, competitor activities, and industry trends. Record activities in CRM systems.
* Training and Support
Perform customer training on instrument use, software, and protocols. Offer application support, troubleshooting, and hardware/software diagnostics.
Requirements
* Fluent in Spanish and English
* Knowledge of the anatomical pathology laboratory environment
* Science degree or laboratory technical qualification in AP, or demonstrable relevant experience
* Ability to analyze solutions using standard procedures
* Moderate guidance and direction
* Willingness to travel up to 60%, including international training
