We are looking for a dynamic, organized, self-starter to join as a Communications Manager in the EU DSP Team. This role will be responsible for building best-in-class communications and content that result in high levels of trust and engagement with new and existing Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) joining Amazon.
This candidate will have strategic communications and program management skills and experience.
Exercising high judgment in narrow time frames, particularly by injecting logic and care into strategic communications targeted at DSPs, is critical. You will demonstrate Insist on the Highest Standards regarding DSP-facing communications and content. Our environment is fast-paced and requires a candidate who is flexible and thrives in ambiguity, with the ability to think big while paying careful attention to detail.
Key job responsibilities - Create high-quality, engaging communications that informs and prepares teams that interact with DSPs daily - Measure the effectiveness of communications and refine or progress them based on feedback - Identify emerging topics and develop proactive plans with stakeholders, ensuring effective and tailored communications towards this audience - Develop and nurture cross-team relationships to help shape your understanding of the business - Propose, execute, and scale new ways of creating and distributing communications that expands organizational program awareness and adoption globally - Explore opportunities to communicate which are bar raising in both content and delivery - Identify and drive process improvements - Analytical and quantitative skills are required - ability to use data to develop and measure marketing programs
A day in the lifeWe write a lot and "are right a lot"! We respond to business needs and develop messaging for change announcements. We also interview key stakeholders and leaders to build compelling stories that inform and persuade the network. We own multiple channels by which we communicate to internal stakeholders such as a newsletter, an internal social forum, and in-person/online events. We partner effectively with other content creator teams at Amazon to bring consistency and amplify engagement.
About the teamThe Rest of World DSP Communications Team is made up of 14 high-performing Communicators. Even though we are based in different cities across Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East, we have a highly inclusive and collaborative culture. Stakeholders and partner teams count on us to provide helpful and trustworthy information so they can provide the right level of information and support to the small business owners delivering millions of smiles in their communities.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in professional non-internship marketing- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)- Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs- Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation
