System Design Engineer on the assigned platform in Airbus Defence & Space.
Responsibilities Be responsible of Audio/Voice Communication Systems Design & Integration activities Systems under responsibility; Audio/Voice Management System Support feasibility studies for new products and user needs Elaborate and validate equipment specifications based on RBE (Requirement Based Engineering) or MBSE (Model Based System Engineering) Allocate requirements to the rest of Aircrafts systems; Communication, Avionics, Weapon and Mission Elaborate engineering design documentation including SW specification Carry out Supplier management Prepare Test Requirements for Laboratory, Ground and Flight Execute development tests on the system under your responsibility Generate test analysis & correlation reports after test completion Perform Integration, validation and verification of the designed systems Support the whole design process including design review meetings (internal, supplier and customer milestones) Support the Certification and Qualification process Support Technical Publications for Aircrafts (AFM, FCOM, etc.) Support transversal areas such as Services, Production, Airworthiness, Test, Procurement, etc.
Be up to date with international regulations: ICAO, FAA, EASA, EUROCONTROL, etc.
Qualifications Telecommunications/Aeronautical Engineering Master Degree More than 5 years of experience as Systems Designer (Design, Development, Installation, Integration and Certification) in Aeronautical sector Deep knowledge of System Engineering & Integration, SW specification, Verification & Validation, Airworthiness and Audio Technology domain More than 3 years of system knowledge: Audio and full chain Communication systems in different Aircrafts (Military, Combat) Experience in Modification Processes and Certification Systems requirement definition using DOORS Experience as CVE, even in a different discipline Use of Agile Methodology (SCRUM, Jira, Confluence, DeMAT) and Plateau attendance way of working experience Strong English skills, both verbal and written MBSE using tools such as CAMEO, ICDMS, Matlab/Simulink and Stakeflow Knowledge of AIRBUS D&S; Design Procedures for EFA Program and others Availability to travel Benefits Vacation days and additional days-off along the year (+35 working days off in total) Attractive salary and compensation package Hybrid model of working when possible, promoting work‑life balance (40% remote work) Collective transport service in some sites Health insurance, employee stock options, retirement plan, or study grants On‑site facilities: free canteen, kindergarten, medical office Possibility to collaborate in different social and corporate social responsibility initiatives Excellent upskilling opportunities and great development prospects in a multicultural environment Special rates in products &
