**Purpose of the job**:
**KEY ACTIVITIES**
The assistant financial controller is part of the cost control team in Born, reporting to the Cost Controller lead.
Key activities:
**Billing management**:_ _**
You will act as contact person for the customer and vendors for timely billing, invoice verification, invoice posting and all questions related to billing in line with commercial agreements. Analytical, excel and communication skills are required to analyze contractual agreements, execute system settings/configuration and billing cycles towards vendors and customers.
**Cost Control**:
In this role you have to support the team to bring the (logistics) cost control function to the next level. Focus should be on analyzing presente costs and revenue levels versus the budgeted costs and revenue levels and identify areas for improvement.
**Projects**:
Part of the role also includes participation in projects. SDSNL is a fast moving and rapidly changing organization in which there are many new (system) developments and improvement areas. Expected is to safeguard that the billing and (logistics) controlling part is properly covered within the projects scope and improvements/efficiencies are achieved. Projects within customer’s scope, i.e. RDCs PCC, etc.
**Profile**:
**PROFILE**
- MBO + /Bachelor degree (Preferably in business economics or similar)
- Fluent in English and Dutch;
- Already living in The Netherlands and in possession of a working permit;
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role;
- Financial Knowledge;
- Strong analytical and communication skills;
- Easy adapter to systems;
- Problem solving skills;
- Preferably familiar with a Logistics environment
