As Procurement Category Support Specialist, you will be part of our Global Operations business unit, which drives excellence across procurement, supply chain, and reliability—ensuring quality, safety, efficiency, and sustainability throughout our value chain. In this role, you’ll serve as a strategic and operational bridge between the Procurement Center of Excellence (COE) and Category Teams. You’ll support procurement projects and category management activities, helping align strategies with business goals and fostering continuous improvement. Your contributions will enhance supplier performance, market intelligence, and sourcing initiatives, while promoting collaboration and innovation across teams. This position is based in Oviedo and follows a hybrid work model (3 days in office, 2 days remote). Where You’ll Make a Difference
* Conduct category analysis and deliver insights that support strategic decision-making.
* Track contract balances and monitor the execution of category strategies.
* Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement or new partnerships.
* Provide supply market intelligence using internal data and external sources (e.g., price indexes, trends, supply/demand dynamics).
* Support sourcing events (RFx), catalog management, and supplier onboarding through IFF systems.
* Review and validate demand forecasts in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
* Contribute to supplier certification and development programs.
* Partner with technical teams to identify opportunities for automation in procurement processes.
* Act as a procurement ambassador, building strong relationships across functions (R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Commercial, etc.).
What Makes You The Right Fit
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a business-related field (e.g., MBA, Supply Chain, Materials Science).
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain.
* Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
* Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and MS Office tools.
* Comfortable working with public indexes, subscription-based market data, and supplier benchmarking.
* Proven ability to collaborate across functions and support supplier development.
* Ability to translate business needs into IT requirements for automation.
