Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced engineer, highly motivated, able to work independently, and have demonstrable sound technical knowledge.
Responsibilities:
1. Accountable for the quality of environmental deliverables, ensuring that environmental design activities are executed following client and WOOD standards and procedures, in schedule and budget.
2. Providing environmental aspects guidance to the project team.
3. Providing environmental expertise to the business.
4. Coordinating with other disciplines during all stages of design development, construction, pre-commissioning, and start-up.
5. Ensure that all project environmental policies are complied with self-awareness of relevant regulatory framework, legislation changes, initiatives, and industry technology developments.
6. Expert knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of environmental engineering methodologies, software systems, and design practices as they relate to FEED, detail design, construction, commissioning, and plant start-up.
7. Expert awareness of international codes and standards.
8. Expert knowledge of design deliverables associated with Environmental scope Engineering design phase, producing environmental engineering deliverables required for project execution. Such documents include:
* Environmental philosophy.
* Identification, updating and verification of legal and other requirements compliance.
* Environmental aspects register.
* Environmental requirements for Vendors and Subcontractors.
* Management of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA): development and implementation.
* Management of noise study: development and implementation.
Support to Construction activities and produce environmental deliverables required for the construction phase. Such documents include:
* Environmental management plan.
* Waste management procedure.
* Hazardous materials management plan.
* Atmospheric emissions control.
* Consumption rates control.
* Control of wastewater discharges.
* Protection and conservation of soil & groundwater and vegetation.
Environmental Management System:
* Knowledge of ISO 14001 standard.
* Participation in environmental audits.
* Management of non-conformities and corrective actions.
Chemical Engineering cal knowledge of Oil & Gas and Refining process units (Crude and Vacuum distillation, Delayed Coking, Hydrotreating, Hydrocracking, FCC, Alkylation, Sulphur block, Utilities & Offsites, etc).
Technical knowledge of energy transition processes (green H2, green methanol, green ammonia, pyrolysis-oil, lithium).
Leading skills.
From 10 to 15 years of proven experience in process design engineering, working at different steps of a project starting from Basic Engineering, FEED and EPC (Greenfield / Revamp projects).
Excellent command of Spanish and English languages.
Holding a valid permit to live and work in Spain is required.
Availability to join in one month.
