Own master data governance (customers, vendors, chart of accounts, cost centers, dimensions).
Ensure data consistency across entities, countries, and systems.
Change Management
Own and govern finance system changes end-to-end, including impact assessment, prioritisation, stakeholder communication, testing coordination, and controlled deployment.
Ensure all changes are documented, approved, tested, and communicated to affected finance teams to minimise operational risk and disruption.
Reporting support
Support month‑end and year‑end close from a system perspective.
Ensure data availability, correct mappings, and smooth data flows into reporting and consolidation tools.
Troubleshoot system‑related close issues and implement preventive solutions.
User access management
Manage user roles, access rights, and segregation of duties in line with internal controls.
Coordinate onboarding and off‑boarding from a system access perspective.
Support audits by providing system‑related documentation and evidence.
Integrations & automation
Own and monitor system integrations and interfaces (BC vs Planful vs AWS, BC vs CRM, Settlement vs BC vs AWS).
Coordinate automation initiatives to reduce manual work and operational risk.
Test and validate changes, upgrades, and new releases.
Issue management & support
Act as first‑line business support for finance system issues.
Analyse root causes, define workarounds, and coordinate fixes with IT and external vendors.
Maintain a structured ticket and issue log.
Development & project coordination
Gather business requirements and translate them into system change requests.
Coordinate system developments with implementation partners and internal IT.
Participate in system implementations, upgrades, and rollouts.
