About the Role
As a Production Planner, you will play a key role in balancing demand and capacity across short-, mid-, and long‑term planning horizons. You will ensure the availability of finished goods and mother reels, support decision‑making with accurate scenario planning, and collaborate closely with our Manufacturing and Supply teams to secure high service levels. This role is part of our Supply Planning Consumer Tissue organization and will work in a hybrid model based in Barcelona.
What You Will Do
- Short-Term Planning: Create and revise detailed daily production schedules, ensuring feasibility and alignment with manufacturing teams.
- Mid-Term Planning: Develop weekly production plans for the 3–16 week horizon, lead mid-term review meetings, and evaluate capacity constraints and market dynamics.
- Long-Term Planning: Prepare monthly 16‑month planning scenarios and support S&OP; reviews with insights on risks, capacity, and prioritization needs.
- Performance Management: Drive continuous improvement using PDCA, monitoring key KPIs such as Service Level, Stock Levels, Routing Accuracy, and Demand Coverage.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a key interface between planning, market teams, and manufacturing sites to anticipate shortages and propose solutions.
- Scenario Modelling: Deliver planning simulations for new products, volume changes, stock builds, and exceptions to standard models.
- Master Data & Process Excellence: Maintain accurate planning master data and contribute to improving PLEx tools, processes, and ways of working.
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in production planning, materials planning, forecasting, or inventory management, ideally in an industrial plant environment.
- Proficiency in SAP and Excel, with the ability to work with planning tools and data‑driven decision-making.
- Strong analytical mindset, ownership, communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proficiency in English;
additional languages are a plus.
