We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Digital Workplace & Software Distribution Engineer to join a highly talented team in charge of the administration, support, and maintenance of Microsoft 365 and Intune environments. In this role, you will act as a subject-matter expert for digital workplace, interacting with various departments across the organization, ensuring reliability and efficiency of software deployment and Microsoft 365 services.Main responsibilitiesYou will be a pivotal member of the team, focused on:
- Software Distribution and Unified Endpoint Management – Working together with MS Intune and third-party solutions, ensure all the end-user devices (regardless of the OS and platform), are securely and efficiently managed across Verisure:
Deploy, configure and maintain endpoints, ensuring consistent policy enforcement and configuration across all device types (Windows, Linux, MacOS, Android, iOS).Analyze, propose and enhance device and application management, leveraging zero-touch and automated strategies for provisioning and deployments.Monitor and manage the computer fleet (Coverage, Encryption, Antivirus, EDR, Model Support, OS Update, Java, Computers with Autopilot,…)- Microsoft 365& Entra ID – Being the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Microsoft 365 and Entra ID services, including Exchange Online, Office applications, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Viva suite:
Plan, deploy and manage Microsoft 365 workloads, configure tenant settings, security & compliance policies, enable and optimize collaboration tools and support the adoption for end users.Microsoft 365 & Entra ID governance, ensuring efficient allocation, adoption and utilization of the different services, implementing and maintaining access packages, conditional access and identity protection policies.Entra ID identity lifecycle management, participating in the Joiner-Mover-Leaver process definition and implementation, for users and groups.Support hybrid setups and migrations from on-premises Active Directory to Entra ID.- Automation and Process Improvement:
Automation scripts using tools such as Azure Functions, PowerShell, Power Automate, and Python to improve M365 services, software distribution, access management, reporting and/or onsite tasks.Process optimization and drive innovation in workflows and administration procedures.As part of the team, other responsibilities will include:
Resolve technical issues related to M365 services, applications deployment, device management and provisioning.Collaborate closely with security and compliance teams, to resolve security issues, and actively participate in providing the proper information needed as part of the risk assessment and audit processes.Monitor Microsoft 365 and Intune solutions performance and generate reports on device compliance, identities, groups, adoption, security incidents, and operational efficiency.Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures related to M365, Entra ID and Intune services administration.RequirementsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams, vendors, and third-party service providers.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in scripting tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, PowerShell, and VBScript.Experience in hybrid environments, with several Windows Active Directory nodes, Entra ID Connect, and Entra ID.Experience migrating from hybrid to cloud will be considered a plus.Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 workloads, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and other associated applications. Microsoft 365 Certified:
