To expand our growth we are recruiting a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager for Italy to lead our commercial strategy, manage key accounts, and drive sales growth across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the sales strategy for Italy in line with Alivira’s global and regional objectives.
- Lead and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve targets and expand market share.
- Manage relationships with key distributors, veterinarians, and other strategic partners.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
- Collaborate with marketing, regulatory, and supply chain teams to ensure customer satisfaction and business efficiency.
- Represent Alivira at industry events, conferences, and exhibitions in Italy and abroad.
Requirements
The idóneo candidate will have a strong background in animal health or pharmaceuticals, proven leadership abilities, and a passion for building customer relationships that deliver long-term value.
- Experience with Large Animals is an absolute must.
- Preferably a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Veterinary Science, Animal Science, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management within the animal health, veterinary, or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of the Italian animal health market, including distribution channels and regulatory environment.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Fluent in Italian and proficient in English.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Italy and occasionally abroad.
