PbThe Opportunity /b /ppbr/ppWe are looking for an bRD Power Electronics Engineer /bto join our Product Development team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, validation, and continuous improvement of advanced power conversion systems used across energy storage, photovoltaic applications, and grid‑connected solutions. You will work in a modern laboratory environment and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary RD team to bring innovative power electronic products from concept to industrialization. /ppbr/ppbHow You’ll Make an Impact /b /ppbr/pulliSelection, qualification, and verification of semiconductors, passive components, and protection devices. /liliSupport a fast and highly iterative design process within a cross‑functional team, using rapid prototyping and lab mock‑ups to accelerate learning cycles and deliver results quickly. /liliPerform commissioning tasks for power conversion and control systems interfacing with energy storage systems in the laboratory. /liliBuild and maintain test setups to verify performance, efficiency, robustness, and compliance with technical requirements. /liliWork hands-on in state‑of‑the‑art laboratories: bringing up prototypes, evaluating design limits, and supporting continuous refinement. /liliConduct detailed technical analysis of logs, errors, signals, and operational metrics; prepare clear, reusable technical reports to support engineering, quality, and certification teams. /liliExecute validation tests both in the factory and in the field for prototype power conversion and control systems. /liliParticipate in component qualification and product certification processes. /liliPrepare validation reports, technical documentation, and supporting materials for internal and external stakeholders. /liliCreate instructions and associated documentation for product deployment, operation, and maintenance. /li /ulpbr/ppbYour Background /b /pulliBSc/MSc degree in Engineering or an equivalent field (minimum requirement). /liliExperience in the design of electrical systems and power electronic converters, including control strategies. /liliHands-on experience with simulation tools such as SPICE, PSCAD, Simulink, PLECS, or similar. /liliExperience in specification, selection, and qualification of power devices and passive components (e.g., DC capacitors, filters). /liliValued experience in commissioning power converters, as well as operating measurement equipment and laboratory instrumentation. /liliStrong experience in managing, preparing, and executing prototype tests, customer tests, or product certifications, including the preparation of test result reports (highly valued). /liliAdvanced knowledge of AC/DC and DC/DC power converter topologies. /liliKnowledge and experience in photovoltaic systems and energy storage systems, particularly in the operation, integration, and testing of batteries and hybrid PV–battery solutions (positively valued). /liliStrong proficiency in interpreting electrical schematics, analyzing conversion topologies, operating modes, and system protection. /liliStrong commitment to safe work practices and adherence to all relevant workplace safety guidelines. /liliHigh level of self‑motivation, curiosity, and eagerness to explore new technologies. /liliStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills with exceptional attention to detail. /liliA collaborative, solutions‑oriented approach, combined with strong communication skills. /liliFluency in written and spoken English is required, as you will be part of a global team. /lilibDesirable: /b at least 5 years of relevant experience.
