Job Description :
An Investment Associate provides crucial financial analysis for Cintra, primarily through building and optimizing financial models to evaluate project performance and investment opportunities. The role involves supporting business development and portfolio management activities in Europe and New Markets, including structuring analyses, communicating findings, and making investment recommendations.
Responsibilities :
* Build, develop, and operate financial models tailored to each project's characteristics.
* Determine optimal financial structures for new investments, analyzing project requirements and sources of finance.
* Prepare and interpret complex financial data for project bids, transactions, and M&A activities.
* Present analysis results to senior management, focusing on feasibility and profitability.
* Draft detailed documentation and presentations for investment approval processes.
* Develop Project Information Memoranda for lenders, investors, and other stakeholders.
* Collaborate with project management and external advisors on financial and legal documents.
* Conduct sensitivity analyses and scenario testing to assess financial robustness.
* Review procurement and financial documents with high attention to detail.
* Participate in bid and project reviews, including pro forma preparation.
* Manage multiple projects at various stages of development.
* Work closely with senior team members to enhance learning and expertise.
* Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities) :
Successful candidates should meet the following criteria:
* At least 8 years of experience in financial modeling and analysis.
* Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation preferred.
* Fluent in English and Spanish (C2 level).
* Strong management of tasks and deadlines.
* Excellent interpersonal, decision-making, project management, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and innovate in a fast-paced environment.
Computer Skills :
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and PC-based programs is required.
