To develop outstanding graphics and supporting Oceania Cruises' communications, marketing and sales initiatives by creating relevant and engaging content for printed material and any onboard collateral.
Responsibilities Coordinate, design and production of all printed collateral, including Currents, letters, flyers, schedules, newspapers and other informational collateral in accordance with company branding guidelines.
Edit and produce all menus, opening hours signs, and preview menus.
Design and produce all onboard signage following branding guidelines.
Manage and use information for the daily Currents, including port information, weather, activities, advertisements and service hours.
Coordinate and update all onboard Wine and Bar lists with the Head Sommelier or Executive Cellar Master.
Print Mid‐Cruise Comment Card, guest information (provided by the Assistant Purser) on voyages longer than seven (7) days.
Print any content for crew use, including informational letters, HR or training materials and crew itinerary.
Email a PDF copy of the daily Currents to Head Office and archive all issues of Currents on BOX.
Work directly with the Marketing Specialist on all content that will be used in a digital format (for use on ITV and Oceania Cruises App).
Maintain an accurate inventory of paper and supplies, order regularly through the Hotel Inventory Controller and maintain RISO printers and organize service as needed.
Maintain adequate printing inventory at all times and ensure minimal waste of supplies.
Train new DTPs (desktop publishers) and coach crew to consistently superior levels of performance.
Model excellent leadership behavior, foster teamwork, maintain positive relationships and promote cooperation and teamwork across departments.
Participate in crew and passenger safety drills and comply with company safety and pollution prevention regulations.
Qualifications Certification in Graphic Design with a portfolio of design work.
Familiarity with the Cruise industry is preferred.
Strong understanding of corporate branding and brand guidelines.
Excellent design skills, visual hierarchy on a printed page, typography and photo‐retouching skills.
Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) and Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
Basic printing knowledge (color printer and duplicator).
Proficiency in English.
Excellent administrative skills, detail oriented, well organized, ability to multi‐task under tight deadlines and with accuracy.
Team player, self‐motivated, flexible, outgoing personality, excellent appearance and social skills.
Respect for the privacy and rights of colleagues and ability to work in an international environment.
