With a team of 50+ M&A professionals across the US, Canada, Australia, LatAm, and Europe, including over 10 in Juniper Group, we focus on software solutions for sectors like travel, insurance, banking, healthcare, public sector, and oil & gas.
We seek a skilled Financial Controller with deep accounting knowledge and experience in buy-side or sell-side transactions to support our acquisition activities across Europe. This is a unique opportunity to join a leading software acquirer.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and consolidate financial and administrative activities of Juniper Group companies.
* Analyze and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
* Review reports from business units for consolidation.
* Support internal and external audits.
* Automate processes to improve reporting efficiency.
* Assist in quarterly budgeting and variance analysis.
* Analyze expenses and revenues, proposing improvements.
* Train and support personnel, including new acquisitions.
* Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or similar.
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Proven experience in a similar role.
* Native Spanish speaker and/or financial language proficiency.
* German language skills (desired).
* Leadership and teamwork abilities.
* Organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
* Quick learner of financial software.
* Strong analytical skills and knowledge of accounting principles.
* Proactive with a capacity to suggest improvements.
* Knowledge of IFRS standards.
* Ability to produce financial reports in English.
