Operational excellenceis one of the four core strategic pillars of APM Terminals' long-term strategy: "This is our platform for current and new terminals, where all value streams are standard, scalable, and replicable from acquisition, to construction, integration and all the way down to running a terminal".
Implementing, optimizing and scaling Operations Technology will play a pivotal rolein achieving our strategic goals, ranging from initiatives like implementing complex brownfield automation at fast pace to optimize manhours per move or efforts to optimize running-hours per move by deploying fit for purpose modular and scalable solutions in our more conventional terminals.
To be successful, our terminals need to be supported by afocused, aligned and agile global teamthat adds value by Subject Matter Expertise, standardization and agile decision making.
As part of the Process Automation team within the Operations Technology function, the TASProduct Coordinator iis a key member of the TAS product team, responsible for contributing to the definition, design, and delivery of the next-generation Truck Appointment System and Mobile Trucker App.
This role ensures that product development is grounded in real operational and commercial needs, leverages global best practices, and delivers measurable value to customers and the business.
The Product Coordinator will be instrumental in translating customer feedback, and strategic vision into actionable requirements and successful product outcomes following product new pillars where scalability and modularization will be our principles.
Once the system is deployed at terminals, the TAS Product Coordinator will ensure systems stabilization by implementing problem solving techniques where there are performance gaps
Additionally, the role will drive standardization across terminals, collecting and managing TAS requirements, controlling all the TAS scope components, identifying possible risks and deviations and giving support during all product life phases.
Focus areas/main deliverables
Thoroughly researching and mapping TAS products in all existing APM Terminals status.
Engage with terminals and customers to collect customer needs and pain points.
Contribute in the creation of product development roadmaps.
Participate in the product testing pahses, from prototyping and Proof of Concepts to FAT, SAT, SIT, AUT, until Go Live.
Once deployed, participate in product trainings, performance stabilization, standardize the product usage and WoW, promotes product adoption, supporting on prioritization, escalations and reporting.

Principal Accountabilities
User & Market Discovery
Document structured user research (interviews, workshops, VoC sessions) to capture requirements, pain points, and opportunities from all relevant personas.
Develop and maintain customer personas and user journey maps for TAS and the Trucker App.
Create process maps to understand vigente situation without product implementation (as is) and desired state after product adoption (to be) and identify and quantify the value the produc generates through Value Stream Mapping
Conduct market and competitor analysis to benchmark features, identify differentiators, and inform product positioning.
Requirements Management & Product Definition
Translate workshop findings, process mapping, and pain point analysis into clear, prioritized product requirements and user stories.
Maintain a centralized requirements catalogue and ensure traceability from business needs to technical solutions.
Collaborate with Product Lead to define and refine the TAS vision, scope, and modular architecture.
Support the Product Lead in planning and executing product roadmap activities, including feature analysis, solution mapping, and rollout recommendations.
Define Product KPIs (Key Performance Metrics) and process TTIs (Target to Improve) which defines product acceptance criteria, performance and success.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Facilitate ongoing collaboration with local, regional, and global stakeholders to validate requirements and KPIs.
Organize and support mini-workshops and customer engagement sessions to ensure continuous alignment and feedback loops.
Communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly to all stakeholders.
Product Delivery & Continuous Improvement
Participate in the product design, deployment, testing and Go Live process by attending weekly calls, on site workshops, due diligence visits, FAT, SAT, SIT, UAT testing.
Implement centralized product performance monitoring dashboard and report on product KPIs
Lead fact based and data driven root cause analysis following world class practices (Lean Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control) to stabilize and improve product performance where needed
Promote the delivery of solution demonstrations and technical training to terminal teams at any time during the different stages of product life cycle either because of product deployment, product iteration, features implementation, etc.
This includes reviewing product training materials and making sure are according to the scope and specific product requirements, aiming to improve the adoption of the product at terminal level
Create, maintain and continuously improve all relevant product documentation, policies, and technical standards.
This includes collecting lessons learned during the different product management stages, creation and continuous improvement of vendor (OEM) product manuals, retrofitting guides, support procedures, and QA/test documentation.
Following the strategy to create products that are modular, scalable, agnostic, fast to deploy and easy to integrate, participate in the creation of product development roadmaps, design, build and test of prototypes and proof on concepts all the way from ideation, creation of minimum viable products and productization
Solution Evaluation & Product-Market Fit
Map requirements against existing and potential TAS solutions and support recommendations to the Steering Committee.
Participate in feature gap analysis and support the development of critical, missing requirements.
Ensure the product delivers on the TAS Future Vision: real-time visibility, customer flexibility, end-to-end digital processes, intuitive UX, and seamless integration.
