We are seeking a skilled and user-centric UX Designer with 5-6 years of experience to join our team for a remote project with one of our clients.

Role Overview:
Lead the design of intuitive, compliant, and engaging web applications for connected access control systems, shaping a responsive, cloud-hosted IoT platform that enables remote monitoring and control of automatic doors and access points, in line with IEC60839 and security standards.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Conduct user research and journey mapping for access control and security management workflows.
* Design scalable, responsive web user interfaces for multiple devices.
* Create wireframes, mockups, user flows, and prototypes using Figma .
* Extend and apply design systems and UI libraries ensuring consistency and accessibility.
* Collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams to define interfaces reflecting system health and user controls.
* Perform usability testing and iterate based on feedback.
* Ensure designs meet IEC60839 functional expectations, including logging and auditability.
* Design for real-time, edge conditions in a cloud IoT environment.
* Document UX decisions and participate in agile processes.
Skills & Experience:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s in UX, Interaction Design, HCI, or related.
* Experience with physical products featuring GUIs in industrial settings.
* 5+ years designing web applications, preferably for B2B SaaS or IoT.
* Proficiency in Figma .
* Understanding of REST APIs, event-driven UI, and real-time UX .
* Knowledge of authentication, access control, and activity auditing .
* Experience with cloud applications focusing on latency, security, and observability.
