As a Junior AML/CFT Officer, you will work closely with Monica, our AML/CFT Team Lead, to ensure a healthy customer base and combat financial crime in an innovative, fast-paced fintech environment.
As a Junior AML/CFT Officer at Qonto, you will:
* Identify and investigate suspicious activity/flows through automated and manual alerts.
* Analyze financial documents and statements to identify suspicious patterns.
* Communicate with customers and counterparts to obtain key information.
* Support other teams such as Onboarding, Customer Service, and Banking Operations when suspicions regarding a customer arise.
* Work in alignment with the Financial Security team, which is responsible for declaring the cases handled by AML.

About You:
* Experience: Up to 1 year in anti-money laundering, financial crime, etc.
* Problem-solving: Trained in problem-structuring and analysis for at least 6 months in a consulting firm or bank
* Analytical mindset: Comfortable with numbers and proficient in Excel for daily tasks
* Organizational skills: Rigorous, curious, with investigative abilities
* Synthesis: Able to see the big picture and synthesize information
* Languages: Fluent in both French and English
