Job Description Summary
A Business Intelligence (BI) Manager plays a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. This role involves planning the management of information and personnel to evolve a data function into a strategic asset. The BI Manager should have a clear vision for aligning internal and external activities with market trends and organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Data Analysis: Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to generate insights.
* Reporting: Create and present data visualizations and reports using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
* Strategic Planning: Use data insights to guide business strategies and decisions.
* Tool Management: Maintain and optimize business intelligence tools and systems.
* Stakeholder Communication: Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
Essential Skills
* Data Analysis: Proficiency in analyzing large datasets and extracting meaningful insights.
* Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python).
* Leadership: Strong team management and leadership skills.
* Communication: Ability to clearly communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
* Business Acumen: Understanding of business operations and strategic planning.
Qualifications
* Educational Background: Typically, a bachelor’s degree in business intelligence, data science, finance, or a related field.
* Experience: At least 5 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
* Certifications: Relevant certifications in BI tools or data analysis can be advantageous.
Key Performance Indicators

* High understanding and management of sales force performance measurement platforms, VEEVA, IQVIA, Data from audits, Power BI.
