As a Customer Application Specialist (CAS) in our Life Science & Diagnostics division, you will support our customers in Pathology laboratories. We provide timely and high-quality diagnosis within cancer diagnostics through trusted answers and insights that improve quality of life. This is an exciting field-based role supporting the Spain Customer Application Specialist (CAS) team, collaborating with Field Sales in Pathology & Healthcare settings.
Your key responsibilities will include :
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to promote products.
Provide pre-sales technical support to Spain Sales Representatives, including technical visits, on-site demonstrations, workshops, and tender support.
Offer post-sales support, including onsite training, validation, product optimization, and ongoing technical assistance.
Participate in Clinical Sessions with Pathologists for slide reviews or troubleshooting.
Report actions taken (trainings, demos, support) to the CAS Manager.
Organize seminars and training sessions for customers.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
Monitor competitor activity during customer visits and report findings.
Support the Customer Technical Support Team / Remote Service Engineer (RSE).
Handle customer complaints and inquiries in collaboration with sales, service, and RSE, following global procedures.
This role involves remote work with regular travel to customer sites across Spain, especially in the Comunidad Valenciana area (a company car will be provided).
Qualifications
We seek candidates with:
Degree in Biology, Biomedical Science, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or similar.
Hands-on experience with H&E / primary / special staining, immunohistochemistry, and/or ISH.
Knowledge of pathology laboratory environments and workflows.
Fluency in Spanish and good proficiency in English.
IT/computer literacy.
Valid driving license.
Previous experience in applications/technical roles is a plus but not required.
Personal qualities include being proactive, outgoing, customer-focused, and quality-oriented. You should enjoy autonomous and team work, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be flexible, adaptable, organized, and able to plan effectively.
