The Regional Quality Systems & Project Manager's main responsibility is to support monitoring, controlling, and reporting on BQ EMEA bakery quality and food safety performance, compliance status to standards, and strategic initiatives. This includes bakeries producing for QSR.
Key Job Responsibilities :
* KPI’s governance & reporting : Consolidate, report, and analyze Quality & Food Safety KPI’s to assess progress against Business Plan objectives, identify top priorities, and monitor critical action plans from recalls, complaints, incidents, and audit findings.
* Compliance monitoring : Monitor and communicate compliance to Customers, Legal, and Internal BQ-GB standards; support communication and implementation of new standards; investigate deviations.
* Systems Management & Training : Provide technical support and training on customer platforms (e.g., McD SIM, OnPoint, Amabis, RBI SPEQ, KFC TraceOne) and BQ systems (e.g., Freshability, Power BI, SPC). Suggest continuous improvements.
* Projects Management : Manage execution of customer projects and BQ initiatives following project management methodologies.
* CAPEX monitoring : Track Food Safety & Quality CAPEX against plan; justify delays or cancellations.
* Document Management : Oversee Quality & Food Safety Document Control & Management System.
* Assist with data requests, organization, and presentation.
* Assist in internal reviews, meetings, and training material preparation.
* Other duties as assigned.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, Co-Pilot).
* Data management and analysis skills, including experience with Power BI and Excel Pivot tables.
* Experience with Project Management tools (Gantt chart, MS Planner, Smartsheet).
* Leadership qualities, autonomy, initiative, results-oriented, and change management skills.
Education and Work Experience :
* Minimum 4 years’ experience in Food Manufacturing, preferably bakeries.
* Knowledge of GMP and Food Safety Standards.
* Experience with QSR customers (e.g., McDonald’s, RBI, KFC) is a plus.
* Language: Proficiency in written and spoken English (B2 or higher); basic Spanish understanding preferred.
Additional Training :
* GMP, HACCP, and prerequisites (advanced preferred); GFSI schemes (FSSC 22000, IFS); Baking processes; QSR standards and platforms.
The position can be based anywhere in Continental Europe where BQ or Bimbo has a bakery.
