Accounting, Compliance & Reporting Role
We are looking for a Senior Consultant with experience in Accounting Compliance and Reporting to provide outsourced Administration and Finance services with knowledge of accounting, billing, customer and supplier management, treasury, and tax preparation and filing.
The opportunity
As a member of our team in the GDS office in Malaga, Spain, you'll extend your knowledge and experience by working on interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches. You'll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in digital transformation.
Your key responsibilities
- Management and verification of invoices received, resolution of discrepancies related to invoice processing and payment management.
- Preparation of adhesion contracts, billing management, and registration of information in the accounting system.
- Posting of issued and received invoices and reconciliation of accounting accounts.
- Management of purchase orders: creation, registration in the accounting system, monitoring, and incident management with suppliers.
- Carrying out reconciliations and bank positions.
- Provision of back‐office services in the treasury area (guarantee management, cash‐management and reporting).
- Execution and review of accounting closures in the Spanish PGC.
- Preparation and presentation of taxes (VAT, CIT, withholding‐tax, Intrastat, etc.).
- Updating master data in different systems (SAP, billing programs, etc.).
Skills and attributes for success
- Degree in Business Administration and Management, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional experience in accounting process outsourcing projects.
- Experience with preparation of financial closures.
- Experience with preparation and submission of taxes.
- Experience with CCAA and LLOO.
To qualify for the role you must have
- Good oral and written communication skills in English; a high level of English is valued.
- Advanced command of office tools (Excel, Outlook, databases, etc.).
- Experience in financial closings, tax filing, and reporting.
Ideally, you'll also have
- User‐level experience with systems: SAP, CRM Dynamics 365, and Business Intelligence.
