ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced developer to contribute to our XSLT Upgrade Project, migrating complex transformations to XSLT 3.0. This role requires deep expertise in XSLT and XML processing, with strong knowledge of Xalan and Saxon parsers .
What you will do
* Upgrade and optimize existing XSLT 1.0/2.0 codebases to XSLT 3.0;
* Design and implement efficient, reusable, and maintainable transformation logic;
* Work with Xalan and Saxon processors, ensuring compatibility and performance across environments;
* Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize large-scale XML transformations;
* Collaborate with backend and integration teams to support API-driven data exchange;
* Apply best practices in version control, testing, and documentation.
MUST HAVES
* 5+ years of proven expertise in XSLT (2.0/3.0), XML, XPath, and schema validation;
* Experience leading teams;
* Hands-on experience with Xalan and Saxon parsers ;
* Strong problem-solving and debugging skills for transformation workflows;
* Familiarity with Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript ;
* Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and data exchange formats (JSON, XML);
* Upper-Intermediate English level.
