The job
As a Business Controller at Mercedes-Benz Group Services, you will be in charge of tasks related to Accounting / Auditing in finance :
* Monthly Financial Tasks : Help with important monthly financial tasks like calculating money owed, managing expenses, and analyzing the company's financial performance.
* Account Management : Oversee company accounts and ensure all the money is correctly recorded and sorted.
* Working with Accountants : Collaborate with the accounting team to keep financial records accurate.
* Financial Planning : Assist in planning and forecasting the company's finances.
* Process Improvement : Make financial processes work better.
* Profit & Loss Analysis : Review and analyze the company's profits and losses, especially related to G&A (General and Administrative) expenses.
Reporting : Create various reports, like cost center reports and headquarter reports.
Assisting with Audits : Help manage both internal and external financial audits.
You qualify if you:
* Speak and write German at a native level (C1) and are fluent in English (B2).
* Have experience in Controlling or in another business area interfacing with Controlling.
* Possess a University Degree in Business Administration; an MBA is desired.
* Are a junior with 6-12 months experience in General Ledger accounting (e.g., Bookkeeper, Accountant, Ledger Keeper, Accounting Clerk for different systems).
* Have a basic understanding and level of computer handling skills.
* Have an Accounting Qualification with appropriate post-qualification experience (Spanish NPGC).
* Are computer literate in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
* Have knowledge of SAP (FI and CO Modules).
* Can manage multiple, competing priorities and duties, with excellent communication skills to express your thoughts clearly.
