Join Our Team as a Biomedical Sales Manager (Spain & Italy) at Avidity Science!

Are you an ambitious sales professional passionate about supporting scientific research environments? Avidity Science is seeking a Biomedical Sales Manager to build and grow our presence across Spain, with future support for Italy and Portugal.

This field-based role focuses on introducing Avidity’s trusted solutions — including our well‑established animal drinking systems — to customers working in research environments where laboratory animals are cared for and studied.


To be considered, you will need to ideally be already located within commutable distance of Barcelona or Madrid, located near regional and international travel hubs, and have existing right to work within the EU. This position involves regular travel across the region, typically 3–4 days per week, including overnight stays.

Your Role

As a Biomedical Sales Manager, you will:

* Lead the development of Avidity Science’s presence in the Spanish market from the ground up, where the current landscape is heavily skewed toward water bottle solutions.
* Build strong relationships with research institutions, laboratories, animal facilities, and relevant distributor partners.
* Promote Avidity’s range of biomedical solutions, with a particular emphasis on animal drinking systems designed for regulated research environments.
* Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities through a consultative, solutions focused approach.
* Strengthen brand awareness across Spain in collaboration with our marketing team and distributor partners — a key success measure in the first 6–12 months.
* Manage and develop distributor relationships to ensure alignment, engagement, and growth.
* Maintain accurate sales pipelines through Salesforce and build detailed territory plans.
* Represent Avidity Science at industry events, symposiums, seminars, and customer visits.
* Support future development of the Italian and Portuguese markets as the role evolves.


What We’re Looking For

* Sales Experience: Demonstrable experience in technical, scientific, or capital equipment sales.
* Distributor Management: Proven experience developing and motivating distributor networks.
* Industry Advantage: Experience working with animal care, laboratory animal science, or biomedical research environments is advantageous.
* Hunter Mentality: Energised by building a market from zero, persistent in opening doors, and comfortable with early rejection stages.
* Communication: Strong relationship building skills with customers at all levels.
* Organisation & Drive: Self‑motivated, resilient, well-structured, and highly proactive.
* Languages: Fluent Spanish and English required; Italian is an advantage.
* Travel Ready: Able to travel extensively across Spain and occasionally to Italy, Portugal, and the UK.


Interview Process

* 30‑minute phone call with the EMEA Sales Manager
* Teams interview with the EMEA Sales Manager and Head of Commercial EMEA
* Final in‑person interview at our EMEA base in the UK
