SAP Business One Technical Lead/Implementation Lead required by Investigo for our client based in Europe. This is a fully remote role and you can be based anywhere in Europe.
Following an intensive period of M&A activity, incorporating seven acquisitions in just eight months, the organization is undergoing a significant digital transformation. This role is a high-impact, hands‑on position designed to harmonize the group’s IT landscape. As the Technical/Implementation Lead, you will serve as the bridge between technical execution and project management, spearheading the rollout of SAP Business One (Beas Manufacturing) across multiple European sites. You will be instrumental in standardizing production planning, quality control, and operational workflows for a rapidly scaling organization of over 1,000 employees.
Required Skills & Experience
* Expert-Level SAP B1 & Beas: Deep functional and technical knowledge of SAP Business One, specifically integrated with the Beas Manufacturing module.
* Multi-Site ERP Rollouts: A proven track record of leading end-to-end ERP implementations across diverse geographical locations or business units.
* Hands-on Configuration: The ability to move beyond advisory tasks to actively perform system configuration, troubleshooting, and customization.
* Manufacturing Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of industrial processes, including advanced production planning, inventory management, and Quality Control (QC).
* M&A Integration Experience: Familiarity with the unique challenges of integrating newly acquired entities into a centralized core IT landscape.
* Systems Integration & Data Migration: Proficiency in overseeing complex data migrations and ensuring seamless integration between legacy systems and the core SAP environment.
* Project Management: Competency in managing workstreams using Agile or hybrid delivery models, ensuring deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment.
* Vendor & Partner Management: Experience coordinating with external implementation partners and software vendors to ensure delivery quality.
* Stakeholder Alignment: Ability to communicate technical requirements effectively to non‑technical stakeholders in Operations, Manufacturing, and Finance.
* Testing & UAT Oversight: Experience designing and leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases to ensure system readiness and user adoption.
* Process Standardization: Skill in identifying best practices to create a standardized \"Group Core\" system while allowing for necessary localizations.
* Change Management: The soft skills required to guide newly acquired teams through technical transitions and system evolution.
* Adaptability & Travel: Willingness to travel regularly across European sites and work effectively in a remote or nearshore collaborative model.
* Technical Problem Solving: Advanced analytical skills to resolve complex architectural bottlenecks during the implementation lifecycle.
* Scalability Mindset: Ability to design system architectures that support rapid headcount growth and future migrations.
