Role Summary : We are a young Boutique Investment Bank, headquartered in Spain with a presence in several European countries.
As a Senior Analyst at KH Holdings, you will lead the analysis and structuring department, focusing on optimizing business models and financial plans to meet venture capital (VC) investor requirements for startups and SMEs seeking investment rounds between €500k and €5M.
Your expertise will directly influence our clients' success in securing funding by providing strategic insights and support during engagements with VC and private equity (PE) funds.
Success in this role is defined by your ability to deliver accurate analyses, guide clients through the investment process, and exceed performance targets, ultimately contributing to our organization’s growth.
The role is mostly remote via videoconferencing, with a preference for candidates in the CET time zone. We will consider part-time roles (minimum 50%) within the CET zone for conducting business.
Responsibilities :
* Business Model Analysis : Evaluate and improve startup and SME business models to align with VC investment criteria and market trends.
* Financial Planning : Develop detailed financial plans and forecasts reflecting realistic growth and funding needs.
* Department Leadership : Lead the analysis and structuring team, mentoring junior analysts and fostering collaboration.
* Support Placement Efforts : Collaborate with the placement department to prepare materials and insights for VC and PE engagements.
Rework business plans and materials based on VC feedback.
* Investment Readiness Assessment : Assess client readiness for investment, identifying strengths and areas for improvement.
* Market Research : Keep updated on industry trends, competitors, and investor preferences to inform strategies.
* Performance Tracking : Monitor metrics to meet departmental and individual objectives, aiding successful funding rounds.
Qualifications :
* Education : MBA or equivalent in Finance or related field.
* Experience : Proven financial analysis and business planning experience; investment banking experience is a plus but not mandatory.
* Skills : Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills; proficiency in financial modeling tools (e.g., Excel); proficiency in a second language is preferred.
