What You Can Expect:
- Receive shipping instructions from the customer, the agent at origin or the customer's supplier.
- Check the incoterm.
- Check the quote made by the sales team.
- Decide the shipping company with which the shipment will be made based on the rate, the quota of weekly / monthly shipments, the date of shipment, etc.
- Make the booking with the shipping company.
- Contact the customer to inform him of the final shipping conditions.
- Receive the BL by the agent or Rhenus office in origin (House and Master) and review it.
- Check shipping invoice.
- Open file in the system and print all the documentation of the shipment.
- Receive confirmation of arrival of the ship and the transfer of the container by the shipping company.
- Send all the necessary documentation to the Customs department to proceed with the clearance.
- Coordinate with the customer specific time of delivery of goods.
- Coordinate the unloading of the goods with the carrier if necessary.
- Check costs to be invoiced in the system and enter additional costs (occupancy expenses, delay expenses, customs inspection expenses, etc.).
- Apply the procedures and controls assigned in terms of Compliance.
What You Bring:
- CFGS in International Trade, Transport and Logistics or related.
- Minimum experience of 3 years in freight forwarding.
- Ability to balance operational priorities with business imperatives.
- Knowledge and courses related to ADR, IATA, IMDG.
- Outgoing personality and the ability to communicate effectively in a diverse multicultural environment.
- Ability to communicate well in written and spoken English.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to listen carefully to the customer and understand customer requirements.
