Job Title: Restaurant Operations Manager
Location: Barcelona, Spain
Salary: 35,000 gross per annum
We are working with an international casual dining restaurant group seeking a Restaurant Operations Manager in Barcelona. The venue has an annual revenue of around 20M and is located in a high-traffic, tourist-heavy area.
The leadership team includes a General Manager, two Assistant General Managers, and three other Operations Managers. The new hire will support floor leadership and service excellence in a hands-on, guest-facing role suited for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and can manage large teams under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee daily floor operations to ensure exceptional guest experience, service flow, and pace.
2. Act as a key leader during service, driving standards, energy, and team coordination.
3. Collaborate with the GM and AGMs to improve operational efficiency and team development.
4. Lead pre-shift briefings, manage live issues, and uphold high service standards.
5. Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff coaching.
6. Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, health & safety, and brand protocols.
Candidate Profile
* Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant General Manager, or Senior Floor Manager in a high-volume setting.
* Background in fast casual, chain, or burger restaurants preferred.
* Strong leadership presence with the ability to energize and direct large teams.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Fluency in English is necessary.
* Eligibility to work in the EU.
