HSE Manager – Multinational Industrial Group | On-site role - Northern Spain
On behalf of a leading multinational industrial company, we are currently seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead the Health, Safety & Environment function at one of its key manufacturing sites in northern Spain. This is a strategic role reporting directly to the Plant Director and managing a team of 15 professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement the site’s HSE strategy in alignment with global corporate standards.- Ensure full compliance with local and international HSE regulations.- Promote a strong, proactive safety culture across all levels of the organization.- Oversee risk management processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.- Lead incident investigations and emergency response planning.- Manage HSE training and awareness for employees and contractors.- Represent the site in group-level HSE forums and audits.
Candidate Profile:
- Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related technical field. A Master’s in Occupational Health & Safety is a strong asset.- Minimum 15 years of experience in industrial environments, ideally within the chemical or metallurgical sectors.- Solid background in SEVESO-regulated environments and PAU (Self-Protection Plans).- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence at all levels.- Fluency in English is essential;
French is a plus.
