In this role you apply mathematical rigor to turn complex measurement data into reliable, life-saving results within Roche Diagnostics Solutions. You collaborate across engineering, science, and regulatory domains to advance blood gas and electrolyte analyzers. You will develop algorithms, build models, and provide statistical support to drive product quality and regulatory-compliant clearance. The position offers impact on patient care through data-driven diagnostics and cross-functional teamwork.

• Develop and refine robust algorithms and validation methods to extract reliable results from physical measurement data
• Create mathematical models and provide expert statistical consulting (Design of Experiments and Validation) to support data-driven decisions
• Incorporate biometric methods into specification documents to meet regulatory and health authority standards
• Support integral product launches with solid statistical rationales and maintain product quality
• Extract, clean, and visualize large datasets to present actionable insights for medical innovation
• Serve as the technical expert and primary contact for quantitative solutions ensuring scientific integrity
Responsabilidades
• Master's degree or higher in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related quantitative field
• 7+ years of industry experience
• Deep knowledge of control engineering, signal processing, system identification, model-based filtering, and (model-predictive) control methods
• Experience modeling electrochemical sensors and robust calibration methods
• Proficiency in MATLAB (preferred), Python, R or JMP with strong data wrangling and visualization skills
• Collaborative communicator capable of translating complex math to interdisciplinary teams
• Regulatory minded with interest or experience in analytical performance guidelines (e.g., CLSI)
• Fluent English
