**Purpose of the job**: 
Increase our market share with both existing and new customers by identifying, mapping, prequalifying and nurturing growth opportunities based on market share gain in strategic selected sub segments. The BDL team serves the crucial functions of qualifying inbound leads, prospecting through existing and new accounts and generating pipeline 
Key tasks and responsibilities 
Leads generation at a market segment level (flexibles) & support to growth initiatives 
Ensure that sales qualified leads (SQLs) are converting to opportunities and supporting sales pipeline growth 
Report monthly on market intelligence gained, sales activity and success 
Conduct research to identify new leads and customer needs 
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers 
Be the first point of contact a new potential client will have with kp when they are seeking information about flexibles in the converter segment 
First stage is to develop converters and printers business; rigid film manufacturers, trays manufacturers, flexible packaging printers 
Second stage, once we reach sales targets in the first stage, he/she will additionally support sales team in the region to further develop the food packer flexibles business as well. 
As a lead is converted into sales (2 industrial orders in a row), he/she will transfer the account to a sales role within the Sales organization in his/her region 
Functional knowledge and technical skills within own and other areas: 
Strong business development skills and marketing acumen. 
**Educational requirements/qualifications and experience**: 
Flexible packaging technical background eventually completed with Marketing advanced degree (MBA) 
Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role. 
Good knowledge of flexible food packaging business, 5+ years of experience 
Willing to travel intensively, at least 50% of his/her time 
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (Salesforce) 
Proficiency in English
