We are looking for a OpenStack Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and support a key client, a multinational leader in the credit insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and maintain OpenStack-based infrastructure for high-availability environments across the EMEA region.
2. Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible, Python, and Shell scripting to streamline operations and handle large-scale infrastructure efficiently.
3. Perform server maintenance on DELL hardware.
4. Address vulnerabilities, remediate obsolescence, and take proactive actions to improve the platform and respond to incidents.
5. Follow ITIL practices as part of the daily operational workflow and in coordination with other IT teams.
6. Participate in on-site, on-call service shifts as part of a rotation schedule.
Skills:
Essential: Proven experience working with OpenStack infrastructure, strong hands-on skills with Ansible, Python, Shell scripting, server maintenance (DELL or HP), and a customer service-oriented mindset.
Desirable: Knowledge of Ceph Storage, experience with Ansible Tower, familiarity with code version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket), and exposure to hypervisors such as VMware or Nutanix.
Qualifications & Languages:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar is preferred but not mandatory. ITIL Foundation certification is desirable. Fluent English (spoken and written – B2 / C1 level) is mandatory. French is a plus.
Working Conditions:
On-site support: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts from 9:00 to 18:00. On-call support: participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation outside regular hours.
