Context and MissionThe Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) is seeking a BSC AIF Digital Marketing Officer to join the Project Dissemination Unit within the BSC AI Factory (BSC AIF) initiative. The BSC AIF is a major European project aimed at accelerating the adoption and development of artificial intelligence across industry sectors. It deploys a comprehensive set of AI-focused services, including training, networking, and innovation support structures. Its mission is to foster the uptake and effective use of AI (particularly among SMEs and startups across participating countries) and to strengthen the European innovation ecosystem. These services are powered by the AI-specific partition of MareNostrum 5. The role leads digital promotion efforts for the BSC AIF by managing online channels, executing targeted campaigns, and optimising audience engagement to support visibility for AI services and initiatives.
Key Duties
Implement and maintain the overall digital marketing activities included within the Marketing and Communication Strategy (D8.1).
Manage day-to-day digital channels: website, social platforms, newsletters, and uploading news.
Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns (SEO, paid ads, emailing or CRM) aligned with the Marketing and Communication Strategy in collaboration with the BSC AIF Project Marketing and Communication Coordinator.
Monitor web and social media analytics and define KPIs to optimise content and customer engagement of the different BSC AI Factory channels; contribute to regular performance reports and campaign reports to assess impact and identify areas of improvement.
Monitor customer acquisition and engagement initiatives and plan digital marketing campaigns in collaboration with WP2–WP5.
Create engaging content for digital marketing campaigns and service promotion including videos, animated infographics, newsletters, and web content; ensure readability and impact across all BSC AIF channels.
Conduct market and customer research to support positioning strategies (LinkedIn Ads, newsletter, Instagram, events, etc) in collaboration with key account managers.
Requirements
Education
University degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Marketing, Communication, Digital Media, Business, or related disciplines
A Master's degree in Digital Marketing, Communication, Innovation Management, Data Analytics will be considered an asset
Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience
At least 2-3 years of proven professional experience in digital marketing and online communication, preferably within innovation- or technology-driven environments.
Competences
Strong competence in digital marketing and online communication strategies
Ability to manage and optimise digital channels (web, social media, newsletters)
Capability to plan, execute, and monitor digital marketing campaigns using KPIs and analytics
Creating engaging, high-impact digital content for multiple platforms like YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret web and social media data to improve performance
Ability to conduct market and customer research to support positioning and acquisition strategies
Strong collaboration and coordination skills in multidisciplinary environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Spanish and/or Catalan is an asset
Conditions
The position will be located at BSC within the Directors Department.
Full-time contract (37.5h/week) with a supportive work environment, flexible hours, training plan, restaurant tickets, private health insurance, and relocation support.
Duration: Open-ended contract tied to project and budget duration.
Holidays: 22 days + 6 personal days + 24th and 31st of December per collective agreement.
Salary: competitive and commensurate with qualifications and cost of living in Barcelona.
Starting date: 01/03/2025.
