The Sales Backoffice Team for Order to Delivery (OTD) manages the central OTD delivery across Europe. This role reports to local management and is guided by HQ (SC/SDP), the business area responsible for the RotF project (agency model).
As a Specialist, you will act as the final gatekeeper, ensuring customer orders are accurate, compliant, and ready for delivery. Your work will be key to maintaining operational excellence and delivering a great customer experience.
🧩 Your responsibilities
Order Management
* Review and verify customer orders and amendments
* Check commercial aspects (solvency, discrepancies, deadlines, delivery conditions)
* Ensure compliance before releasing orders
Damage & Payment Handling
* Collaborate with service providers on claims processing
* Coordinate repair payments with retailers
* Manage billing with insurance companies
* Provide payment documentation to stakeholders
Logistics
* Verify transport invoices and clarify with providers
* Act as first point of contact for A2A transport topics
* Manage tickets (e.g., cancellations due to damages)
Quality & Compliance
* Perform final checks before orders move to production and delivery
* Monitor processes and maintain documentation for audits
* Ensure all documents meet Mercedes-Benz and legal standards
🎓 Your profile
* Bachelor’s degree, commercial apprenticeship, or equivalent
* Strong attention to detail and ability to handle complex data
* Experience in back-office, order, logistics or damage processes
* Proficiency in MS Office
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
* Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
🌐 Languages
* Fluent English (written & spoken)
* German is a plus (B2–C1) or willingness to learn
* Additional languages like Italian, Spanish, Portuguese or French are valued
