Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP FICO Team Lead to join our dynamic organization in Barcelona, Spain. As the SAP FICO Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. You will lead a team of SAP FICO consultants, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet our organization's financial management needs.
* Lead and manage a team of SAP FICO consultants, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations
* Oversee the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP FICO modules, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP FICO with other SAP modules and external systems
* Develop and maintain SAP FICO-related policies, procedures, and documentation
* Analyze complex financial processes and recommend innovative solutions to optimize system performance and efficiency
* Manage multiple SAP FICO projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope
* Conduct regular team meetings and status updates to senior management
* Stay updated on the latest SAP FICO developments and industry trends, implementing new features and functionalities as appropriate
* Provide expert-level support for critical issues and escalations
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
* 15+ years of experience in SAP FICO implementation, configuration, and support
* Experience in a team lead or managerial role
* Strong expertise in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules
* Experience with Treasury
* Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and experience with SAP implementation and upgrade projects
* SAP FICO Certification is preferred
* Excellent understanding of financial accounting and controlling processes
* Proven track record in managing and mentoring teams
* Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
* Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
* Fluency in English
* Willingness to travel occasionally
