The role involves managing complex insurance debtors and creditors in an international environment, working alongside other credit controllers.You will primarily liaise with international and domestic customers, insurance intermediaries, and reinsurers to ensure the timely collection of premiums and recoveries.You will handle broker and reinsurer accounts, build effective relationships, and collaborate with underwriting, operations, and claims teams to resolve queries. Strong analytical, relationship management, and communication skills are essential.You should have an interest in complex international insurance structures, including reinsurance, and a desire to develop your knowledge further.Key Responsibilities :
Reconcile debtor and creditor accounts, analyze differences, log queries, and monitor resolutions.Maintain effective relationships with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders.Achieve targets for gross and reinsurance debt and unallocated cash in terms of size, volume, and age.Handle requests for information, respond or redirect, and prioritize accordingly.Communicate with finance, underwriting, operations, and claims teams to ensure accuracy and resolve queries.Follow credit control processes and contribute to maintaining up-to-date documentation.Work within your authority levels and seek approvals proactively for bad debt provisions and write-offs.Issue and send monthly statements to brokers.Participate in projects and initiatives as needed.Understand legal requirements, RSA policies, and broker TOBAs.Record data accurately and in a timely manner.Skills and Experience :
1-2 years’ experience in credit control or finance administration.Minimum higher education qualification.Proficiency in working with data, tools, and systems, especially Excel.Fluent in English and Spanish, both verbal and written.Effective team player with organized working methods.Commercial mindset with a results-driven attitude.Positive approach to change and adaptability.RSA Luxembourg SA is committed to protecting your privacy.
