Job Description
Our Homologation department is looking for an Engineer to join the team.
Role
* Perform activities within the scope of projects of Homologation of ADAS systems, Automated Vehicle and related vehicle regulations.
* Manage projects of Cybersecurity and Software update certification.
Main responsibilities
* Participation in R+D projects.
* Analysis of internal processes and improvement.
* Analysis of manufacturer's documentation.
* Prototype assessment, preparation, instrumentation and test, both at IDIADA HQ and in other locations worldwide.
* Analysis of test results.
* Homologation reports.
* Manage the whole approval process including multidisciplinary teams.
* Meetings with manufacturers and approval authorities.
Qualifications
Education
* Different Engineering education will be valued: Industrial/Mechanical/Telecommunications/Electronics/Computer Science/Aeronautical (MSc valued).
* Other engineering degrees or specialities (e.g. Physics, Mathematics) will also be considered.
Experience
* Experience in automotive engineering valuable.
* Experience in quality systems valuable.
* Experience in Project Management valuable.
* Knowledge or experience in quality control, regulation or standards.
* Knowledge or experience in measuring systems, procedures and equipments.
* Knowledge in new automotive technologies related to General Safety Regulation 2: intelligent vehicle safety and dynamic systems.
Languages
* High level of English (other languages valued, French, Italian, German, ...).
