Key responsibilities:
1. Manage Product Backlog:
Formulate and prioritize backlog items based on critical business objectives.
2. Define Sprint Objectives:
Establish sprint goals to guide development cycles.
3. Review and approve work:
Inspect product increments from design to release to ensure quality and completeness.
4. Stakeholder Communication:
Act as the central communicator between the development team and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and approval on major decisions.
5. Backlog Refinement:
Prioritize, enhance, and finalize backlog items with the team before sprint planning.
6. Change Requests:
Gather and prioritize operational changes, including them in the backlog for future sprints.
7. Define Acceptance Criteria:
Clearly specify what each feature should achieve, confirmed with stakeholders, serving as the basis for QA testing.
8. Gather Requirements:
Collect functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring they meet product expectations.
9. Maintain and Verify Requirements:
Adjust requirements as needed during the project lifecycle and confirm their fitness for purpose.
10. Create and Manage Artifacts:
Develop epics, stories, use cases, and edge cases, ensuring high-quality content.
11. Participate in OKR Planning:
Collaborate with stakeholders in quarterly planning, estimating achievement of objectives.
Requirements:
* At least 3 years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role (e.G., Business Analyst, System Analyst).
* Technical understanding in requirements lifecycle, Scrum and Agile methodologies, user experience principles, and optionally coding/design skills.
* Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills for conveying product goals and reporting insights.
* Strong analytical skills to identify issues, analyze information, and find solutions quickly.
* Ability to manage processes, lead productive meetings, and foster collaboration.
* Leadership qualities to guide a team, mentor, negotiate, and resolve conflicts effectively.
* PSPO level 1 or similar certification is a plus but not required.
