PbThe Opportunity /b /ppWe are looking for an bRD Validation and Certification Engineer /b to join our Product Development team. In this role, you will contribute to the validation, testing, and commissioning of advanced power conversion systems used in energy storage and photovoltaic applications. You will work in a modern laboratory environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary RD team to ensure product performance, reliability, and compliance from concept to certification. /ppbr/ppbHow You’ll Make an Impact /b /pulliPerform commissioning tasks for power conversion and control systems interfacing with energy storage systems in the laboratory. /liliConduct technical analysis of logs, errors, signals, and metrics, generating clear and reusable reports to support engineering, quality, and certification processes. /liliStudy system stability and response to electrical transients (e.g. voltage dips, frequency disturbances, fault conditions, and power oscillation damping). /liliAnalyze specifications and requirements for electronic equipment under development. /liliSimulate and debug control algorithms, ensuring compliance with grid codes. /liliParticipate in the definition of validation strategies, test plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria. /liliExecute validation tests both in the factory and in the field for prototype power conversion systems. /liliEnsure full test traceability, from requirement definition to final reporting. /liliPerform proof-of-concept validation of hardware and software components. /liliSupport component approval and product certification processes. /liliPrepare validation reports and technical documentation. /liliDevelop and implement test automation solutions, including Python-based tools where applicable. /li /ulpbr/ppbYour Background /b /pulliBSc in Engineering or equivalent (minimum requirement). /liliSolid experience in the design of electrical systems and power electronics converters and their control. /liliExperience in validation of electronic products and/or embedded software, including laboratory test benches and HIL systems. /liliExperience with simulation tools (Spice, PSCAD, Simulink, PLECS). /liliAdvanced knowledge of power converters (AC/DC, DC/DC). /liliExperience in commissioning power converters and working with laboratory instrumentation is valued. /liliKnowledge of photovoltaic and energy storage systems, including battery integration and hybrid PV–battery solutions, is a plus. /liliExperience in Python and test automation is desirable. /liliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. /liliHigh level of self-motivation, curiosity, and willingness to learn new technologies. /liliFluent in English and Spanish (both written and spoken). /liliDesirable: 5+ years of relevant experience (final level will depend on candidate profile). /lilibAvailability to work in shifts (turn-based schedule) is considered a plus. /b /li /ulpbr/ppbMore About Us /b /ppYou will join a dynamic, passionate, and collaborative team committed to innovation and continuous improvement.
