Assistant pm engineer | business development

We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our Business Development division and help us improve people's lives. As a member of the Sacyr Concesiones development team, the Assistant Project Manager – Project Development ("APM") will assist with the P3 bidding process from a developer/equity investor perspective on social and transportation projects across various regions.


Duties and Responsibilities :

1. Coordinate and manage the P3 bidding processes from start to finish.
2. Negotiate equity teaming and project bidding agreements.
3. Engage with developer and lender advisors.
4. Prepare RFQ submissions.
5. Develop bid management plans.
6. Track project milestones and develop schedules.
7. Coordinate bid deliverables with project management teams covering finance, design, construction, and operations.
8. Negotiate contractual terms with the legal team for agreements such as DBFM and Design-Build contracts.
9. Secure project financing in collaboration with the finance team.
10. Develop project costing in consultation with finance, legal, construction, and operations teams.
11. Build and maintain relationships with partners, advisors, and clients.
12. Prepare reports on bid progress, market assessment, and project descriptions.
13. Perform other tasks to support development activities across teams.
14. Travel as needed for meetings.


Requirements and Competences :

1. Degree in civil or industrial engineering.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry.
3. Proficiency in Spanish and English.
4. Quick learner with flexibility, attention to detail, and adaptability.
5. Self-starter capable of working in a team environment on P3 bids through to financial close.
6. Ability to prioritize tasks effectively under pressure.
7. Team-oriented and collaborative mindset.
8. Strong understanding of P3 contractual frameworks.
9. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
10. Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
11. Experience with successful P3 deals is a plus.
