Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with the company's guidelines, policies, and procedures.
* Oversee the accuracy and quality of financial closings and prepare relevant reports within established deadlines.
* Provide support to hotel management, auditors, and procurement teams, ensuring alignment with corporate policies.
* Manage invoice accounting according to company standards.
* Validate that all registered invoices have undergone the required approval processes via Harmon and SharePoint.
* Identify and resolve discrepancies between PMS-ERP applications.
* Collaborate with the Purchasing and Stores Department to address issues in the VOXEL platform.
* Monitor and control records submitted to tax authorities related to the Immediate Supply of Information (SII).
* Oversee bank reconciliations and accounting account reconciliation processes.
* Handle amortization accounting and fixed asset records, if applicable.
* Prepare financial data for tax reporting.
* Assist in inventory control and consumption reclassification with the Department Head and storeroom.
* Manage and monitor financial forecasts for hotel establishments.
* Oversee accruals and ensure accurate cost allocation between hotels, including re-invoicing if necessary.
* Process payroll accounting and reconcile payroll-related accounts in collaboration with HR.
* Review cash interventions and reconciliations between PMS and ERP applications.
* Ensure the accurate preparation of reliable Gross Operating Profit (GOP) reports.
* Monitor debt aging and intercompany balances.
* Submit external and governmental reports (INE) within deadlines.
* Collaborate with other departments on key projects, providing financial expertise.
* Oversee supplier accounts, payment schedules, and ensure timely payments.
* Supervise expenses with hotel management to meet budget objectives.
* Uphold Hyatt's core values in all responsibilities.
Qualifications
* 2–3 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Hotel Management. (CFA, CMA, or CPA certifications are a plus.)
* High proficiency in English and Spanish.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
